Jeanette Shaw For Tigard

Jeanette Shaw a woman on a mission to make a positive difference in her community.

Jeanette lives in Tigard with her husband, Jason, who is a third-generation Oregonian and Oregon State University graduate and she is the proud mother of Alison and Luke. The Shaw family enjoys getting outdoors and exploring the Tigard community, parks, Tualatin River on kayaks, and supporting local shops, restaurants, and the Farmer’s Market. As a child, Jeanette spent many summers camping throughout Oregon picking berries and visiting the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) exploring the exhibits, particularly those centered around transportation and technology.

Jeanette received her undergraduate bachelor of science degree in political science with an emphasis on public service from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her executive master’s degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Jeanette is an Advisory Council Member on the State of Oregon Career Technical Education Revitalization Committee and served on the East Metro STEM/STEAM Partnership.

Jeanette’s policy experience in Salem and in Washington, D.C., and her ability to collaborate with individuals with different views and backgrounds will ensure Jeanette will hit the ground running as a Tigard City Councilor.
