Our Future: A Vital Tigard

“Letโ€™s carry forward a vision of what Tigard can be, Together!”ย

About Jeanette

Thank you for reaching out to get to know more about Jeanette.

These are very difficult times and difficult times require a leader who is experienced and who can hit the ground running: to listen, to learn, to advocate for Tigard residents within City Hall and Salem and to collaborate with neighboring communities.ย  Jeanette is that leader!

Jeanette has worked both internationally, nationally and in our state capitals on legislation to increase good paying jobs, manufacturing within the United States, transportation choices such as light rail and electric bus routes, housing availability, and to ensure our children have options above and beyond a two-and four-year college education, options that include technical careers. In Salem, Jeanette passed an electric car rebate for all income levels when everyone said it could not be done!

Here are what others are saying about Jeanette:

โ€œThere are many reasons to support Jeanetteโ€™s candidacy, most importantly is her commitment to be a voice for ALL of Tigard!โ€
Washington County Chair Kathryn Harrington

โ€œAs a Mom, Jeanette understands the issues facingย Tigard’s youth and is committed to ensuring their voice is heard at the Council.โ€ย
-Tigard Tualatin Student Union

โ€œJeanette understands the challenges faced by businesses, whether family run, manufacturing or tech, she has the depth of experience to assist and help us thrive.โ€
Bill Frith, VP Commercial Employers, Inc.

The Tigard community supports Jeanette — A vote for Jeanette will be a vote for Tigardโ€™s future built on a solid past! Vote for Jeanette Shaw on Tuesday, November 3, 2020
