Key Priorities For Our Community

As illustrated by our achievements, we’ve accomplished a lot together as a Community and a City in the last four years. I’m running for re-election to build upon those past four years of success with the following priorities—priorities that will continue to support our goal of an equitable community that is walkable, healthy, and accessible for everyone and strengthen our business community and economy. I look forward to continued community conversations and actions to ensure Tigard thrives.

  • Community Safety: Prioritize and modernize our Police and Public works facilities and resources so they can perform their duties efficiently and effectively.

  • Thriving Local Economy: Develop a budget that strengthens and supports our businesses, grows our workforce, and invests in Tigard’s Climate Action Resiliency Plan.

  • Housing: Collaborate with housing developers, governments, and non-profits to continue developing diverse housing for all income levels and partnering with Washington County to reduce homelessness.

  • Parks and Recreation: Support park maintenance and facility improvements and add additional parks and recreational spaces for residents, such as pickleball.

  • Safe Streets, Mobility: Continue to fill in sidewalk gaps, create additional “Safe Routes to School” programs, and mobility options such as bike lanes.
